Operator instructions for use of the private SafeCRM Daily Backup tool.
Operator-directed use
SafeCRM Daily Backup is operated from a Windows computer controlled by its operator. The operator selects the backup scope and authorizes the Google Drive connection. Enabling the configured backup directs the tool to create local snapshots, transfer encrypted repository data, verify restores and apply the managed retention policy.
Retention and recovery
The configured policy keeps seven daily and four weekly restore points, preserving at least two when available. It removes only verified tool-created backup snapshots and unneeded repository objects. The operator controls changes to destinations, credentials and retention, and keeps the repository decryption password separately. Restore checks keep restored services and messaging integrations paused; starting restored services requires the operator’s separate review and action.
Data and authorization
Backup and restore do not change ownership of the source data. Google Drive access can be removed through Google Account connections. The privacy policy explains the connection’s data access, storage, use, sharing and removal.
